Questions about your chimney? Call our receptionist, Kari, at 320.414.0191. She picks up weekdays, 9 to 5.
All most people know when they call us is that they're getting water into the house, a stain on the ceiling next to the chimney or a drip in the attic, so they want an estimate to fix that leak. It's our job to do the digging, and to ask the right questions, so we find out what the chimney actually needs instead of putting a quick fix on the spot that's wet.

The four places it usually comes from
The crown on top, when it's cracked or has no overhang, lets water into the brick from above. The brick and mortar soak it up when the joints are open. The flashing at the roof line, when it's loose or was only caulked on, lets it run in where the chimney meets the roof. And a flue with no rain cap takes it straight down the inside.
How we find the right one
We go up and look at all four, take pictures, and match what we see to where the water is showing up inside. Sometimes it's not re-roofing anything, just popping seven or eight shingles so we can properly flash the chimney and then nailing them back down. Sometimes it's the crown. We show you which before we quote it.
If any of this sounds like your chimney, call 320.414.0191. We'll come out, climb up, take pictures of what we find and show you before we quote anything.
