Schedule Your Appointment
Important Information to Note
Your safety is our top priority and we want you have the best experience with our company.
Every appointment begins with an inspection, which does involve the use of a video camera inside your chimney system so you will know if there are any potential fire hazards or flue gas leaks.
Technicians will access the roof, the basement, and attic if necessary.
We treat your entire chimney structure as a whole system. Whether you have 1 flue or 3 flues, a wood burning fireplace, a gas water heater, or a boiler, per the NFPA 211, if it’s venting into your chimney we are required to inspect each one. You can view pricing information here.
The system we use is quite versatile and allows us the flexibility to handle any and all types of chimneys.
When it comes to cleaning your system, our technician's focus will be on removing harmful and combustible byproducts or residue that is left behind from wood being burned. If there is more than 1/8th of an inch of this build up, we will be required to remove it and an additional charge will apply.
Before we finish your appointment all soot and creosote will be swept and vacuumed off the inner lining of your firebox, damper, smoke chamber, flue liner, and chimney cap. The ash and any debris in your firebox or on your hearth extension will be vacuumed up as well. We do not clean out ash pits.
All findings will be properly documented and a digital version of the report along with proposed repairs, if any, will be emailed after the inspection is completed.
